This project involved temporary propping of steel floor beams, erection of crash decks, demolition of slabs and beams and installation of new steel framing to form new openings in floor for new stairs, lift and escalators. The floors being temporarily supported were the first floor of Terminal 1 and remained live and in use for the duration of the project. As coordination of temporary works and permanent works were critical in this instance, Lohan & Donnelly were engaged by DAA for both temporary and permanent works design services.
