New council social housing homes at Grand Canal View, Bluebell, valued at €3m, were officially opened today by Lord Mayor Christy Burke and Alan Kelly, Minister for the Environment.
Purcell Construction started on site in January 2014 to complete construction on the existing unfinished apartment development for Dublin City Council. The development originally commenced on site in 2008 by a private developer, however, the works stopped as a result of the recession. Dublin City Council then obtained the site to complete the development for social housing.
