This project involved extensive structural cut and carve of an existing wing of Connolly Hospital for the formation of a new infusion centre. The proposed works required the existing first floor space to remain live for the duration of the project while removing the majority of loadbearing walls at ground floor and forming a series of new permanent works steel frames to form an open space for the infusion centre. Due to the high level of coordination required between temporary and permanent works structures, Lohan & Donnelly were engaged for both temporary and permanent works design services.
